getting your house in order process, so far, has yielded:

• a near-total purge of both facebook and public twitter
• making the lateral shift to firefox's ESR and
• a quick edit of an xkit extension
• multiple hours trying to choose the correct etherpad instance
• followed by doing in two hours what I've entirely failed to do in several weeks re: curation lists
• proceeding to flounder aimlessly for the remainder of yesterday
• several attempts and much frustration trying to reacquire access to this account
• immediate access credential changes, obviously

and now here we are in the middle of this mess.

getting your house in order: part two

we have since moved on to:

• getting trapped in old email accounts that hasn't been actively used in several years
• playing the unsubscribe-from-every-mailing-list-in-existence game
• while adding the line item 'change dreamwidth style' to the seemingly endless list we have going here
• making the decision that hulu is happening because of a change in circumstances
• and getting yanked, abruptly, into a google voice detour that was definitely not in the itinerary

oh, and apparently actually blogging, that appears to be a thing that is now happening. didn't see that coming.

and then everything takes a very sudden and bizarre trip through fixing stumbleupon, and I'm given a pointed reminder that every time I see a garfunkel and oates video the world gets just a little bit weirder for a while

I have, at this point, been laughing about Lord Byron for a half hour at least, with no sign of stopping. I've now got the tag 'kinkshaming lord byron,' and absolutely no idea how to follow through on that, but apparently we are officially blogging again, as opposed to curating a tumblr blog. so that... has happened.
